Code's Kanga 1390 is built for pump foiling. Dock starts, flat water paddle-ups. We're not pump foil specialists — we're downwind, surf and parawing foilers. So the question we wanted answered was simple: does a wing like this earn a slot in the quiver? If so, how should it be set up? We took it to Green Point, VIC in SW 5–8 knots and worked through the setups — Code XS and the new XXS fuselage, the110R and 100 Race tails, 75 and 80cm masts — across three boards. FJ Opinions: Real sessions, multiple riders, gear tested. Our thoughts on how the gear actually performs. Less hype, more substance. —‪@codefoils‬ ‪@Poseidon_sports_‬ ‪@hsfoil‬ tow boogie (https://zerotow.com.au/) RIDERS Tom — 85kg (plus wetsuit) Derek — 70kg (plus wetsuit) Mike — 85kg (plus wetsuit) SETUPS TESTED Front wing — Code Kanga 1390 (1300mm span, 1390cm², AR 12.1) Fuselages — Code XS, Code XXS Tails — Code 110R, Code 100 Race Masts — 75cm, 80cm BOARDS HSFoil Raven Pro Custom 6'0 x 67L (parawing) Ben Tardrew Custom 6'8 (parawing) Ben Tardrew Custom 8'4 (downwind) CONDITIONS Green Point, Brighton — SW 5–8 knots
