Code's Kanga 1390 is built for pump foiling. Dock starts, flat water paddle-ups. We're not pump foil specialists — we're downwind, surf and parawing foilers. So the question we wanted answered was simple: does a wing like this earn a slot in the quiver? If so, how should it be set up?
We took it to Green Point, VIC in SW 5–8 knots and worked through the setups — Code XS and the new XXS fuselage, the110R and 100 Race tails, 75 and 80cm masts — across three boards.
FJ Opinions: Real sessions, multiple riders, gear tested. Our thoughts on how the gear actually performs. Less hype, more substance.
