As a child of the ’70s, I grew up with the visual worlds of Chris Foss, Syd Mead, John Berkey, and many others. Their images have had a profound influence on my vision of the future. Even though it sounds funny, another major influence—both musically and visually—was the TV series Captain Future with its German soundtrack by Christian Bruhn. Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, as well as Frankie Goes to Hollywood and many others also had a huge impact on me. Why am I writing this? In some critical comments on this channel, I’ve been told that I use AI to imitate the visual styles of great artists but don’t mention them anywhere. I’d like to do that now with this post. I’m trying to find my own style and I think I’m on the right track, but of course I can’t deny my great idols. While I do use AI to generate the visuals, the music itself is created by me, without the help of AI. I use the music software Reason in combination with several digital synth plug-ins from Korg, Synapse Audio, U-he, and a few others. (I’m writing this because it’s very important for some people to know.) The music is intended to support you in your daily work or accompany you in your hobbies.
