#AIRHyderabad ‘Sirika kolanu cinnadi’ Krishnadevaraya ends up taking away the ‘Dasi' from the God (Deva) and the prostitute from the common man.Denouncing the tradition of Devadasis, and criticizing the practice of prostitution, Veturi, even back then displayed his affinity for a healthy society. While the story is set in history, the manner of story telling is marvelous. The conversations are poetic in nature and the music enjoyable.
