Lord of the Rings Online - Ultimate Install Guide for 2022

The Lord of the Rings Online is a Massively Multiplayer RPG from Standing Stone Games (SSG) for Windows PCs. Over the years, it has not always installed properly (or at all) unless several prerequisite pieces of software were installed. Unfortunately, until recently, the installer provided by SSG did not install the prerequisites properly, leading to the game being inoperable or lacking certain functionality (DirectX 10/11 features, etc.). While SSG's installer was fixed recently, the installer for Steam remains completely broken (see prior livestreams). This video will take even the novice computer user through the steps necessary to install everything LotRO will need to run properly on a brand-new computer (new computers are more likely to be missing the prerequisite software). This is especially necessary for Steam-based installs of LotRO. My thread on the Lord of the Rings Online forums (https://forums.lotro.com/forums/showt...) has over 150,000 views.
