This is the fastest train in South East Asia reaching speeds of up to 350km/h, but will it be around for much longer? Heavily funded by the Chinese, the Whoosh cost $7.3B to build and began operation in 2023. It covers only 142km of track and services just 4 stations, yet the Whoosh is the only high-speed rail (for now) in Southeast Asia making it a very unique train!
