Mark Edwards, First British indie author to hit #1 spot on Amazon.co.uk Part1: The Dream

Laura Pepper Wu of 30 Day Books talks to British author Mark Edwards about how he struggled for 10 years to find an agent and get published. After hearing about the Kindle 'success stories' in the US, himself and co-author Louise Voss decided to put Killing Cupid & Catch Your Death on the Kindle and then spent a few months marketing them. The books shot to #1 and #2 in the Amazon.co.uk charts, and the duo ended up being approached by an agent who sold the world-wide rights to Harper Collins.
