Welsh Government intervention to protect local health services

🗣️”What threshold must be crossed before the Welsh Government is prepared to intervene?" That was the question I asked the First Minister regarding the continued downgrading of health services in west Wales. 🏥 After years of seeing services moved further away, local people deserve answers. Patients in Ceredigion Penfro should not face longer journeys for treatment because of decisions that ignore the realities of our rural communities and inadequate transport infrastructure. I will keep challenging the Welsh Government to stand up to the local Health Board and stop the downgrading of our local health services. 🗣️ “Pa drothwy sydd raid ei groesi cyn bod Llywodraeth Cymru yn barod i ymyrryd?" Dyna oedd y cwestiwn a ofynnais i'r Prif Weinidog ynghylch parhau i israddio gwasanaethau iechyd yng ngorllewin Cymru. 🏥 Ar ôl blynyddoedd o weld gwasanaethau'n cael eu symud ymhellach i ffwrdd, mae pobl leol yn haeddu atebion. Ni ddylai cleifion yng Ngheredigion Penfro wynebu teithiau hirach i gael triniaeth oherwydd penderfyniadau sy'n anwybyddu realiti ein cymunedau gwledig a seilwaith trafnidiaeth annigonol. Byddaf yn parhau i herio Llywodraeth Cymru i sefyll yn erbyn y Bwrdd Iechyd lleol ac atal israddio ein gwasanaethau iechyd lleol.
