Mandela Month in Action | DUT Empowers Future Hospitality Leaders

As part of Mandela Month, the Durban University of Technology (DUT) Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management welcomed Grade 12 Consumer Studies learners from Mandlenkosi High School in Ntuzuma to the DUT Hotel School at the Ritson Campus for an immersive practical learning experience. The visit provided learners with hands-on training in professional hospitality facilities, exposing them to industry-standard equipment and career opportunities in the hospitality sector. Through this initiative, DUT continues to honour Nelson Mandela's legacy by investing in education, skills development, and community empowerment.
