Outlaw Final Vermilion Sept Showdown 2026

This the race that I've been living for. I won the first edition in 2024 on the first major race of the #65. I won it again in 2025 with the #65. This June I won the season opener in Vermilion with....the #65....and then I sold it because the #67 was ready. After winning 3 of 4 heats I had qualified for the pole position. Dylan with the 417 was on the outside. Justin and Zane were on row 2. The temperature was about 4-5C so helmet visors were fogging up and the tiny crack it was open allowed a pretty steady stream of dust and dirt right into your eyes! Then at about lap 3, I notice a set of vehicle headlights from the parking lot aimed right into the corner where we are dropping down from our max speed. That got on my nerves and you might see me waving at the flaggers. Anyway, That took over my focus and I blew the last turn giving Dylan the win. The Race Director cam by to ask what I was trying to get his attention for and I told him about the lights. He sought out the owner who had just hit the remote start button 'cuz the action was just about over. NOW - would I have regained my focus if the white flag for the last lap had been fully displayed? Hard to tell.
