Concrete is the most used man-made material on Earth. Its recipe hasn't changed since 1824. And it's responsible for 8% of all human carbon emissions.
A research team in Vancouver may have just changed all of that.
In this video, we break down the mineral lattice material developed at the University of British Columbia — a structural material that is 99% air, carries real compressive loads, and gets stronger by absorbing carbon dioxide as it cures.
