I travel from the outskirts of Bangkok, walk through the rain, pass Wat Prayurawongsawat, Pak Khlong Talat, Ong Ang Canal, and the old city streets, before finally arriving at Yaowarat. Along the way, you'll see a different side of Bangkok — quiet streets, local food vendors waiting for customers, colorful reflections on the wet roads, and everyday life continuing despite the rain. Once I reach Yaowarat, I explore the famous Chinatown streets, where restaurants, food stalls, neon signs, traffic, and street food come together. I also stop to try some local favorites, including grilled pork, spicy grilled squid with Thai seafood sauce, and steamed dumplings. Because of the rain, Yaowarat is quieter than usual, but that gives us a chance to experience the area from a different perspective. This is not just a food tour.
