What Happened Here? VIA Trains, CN and a Huge Smoke Show on the CN Port Hope Viaduct

The day wasn't done when we left Cobourg, After catching trains in Toronto and Cobourg, Martin got some extra track time under the CN Port Hope Viaduct. What a spot! You can get that great view of trains passing over this bridge with nothing but the sky behind. Five VIA trains and a short CN Q122 are on display here. We saved the best for last in this video. VIA 53 to Toronto was the second train he caught; but we saved it for last. As the P42DC passed over the bridge, what was likely a bad mixture of oil and moisture produced a smoke show that we've never seen before. The locomotive was okay though. We caught it the next day. Seeing this incredible smoke show on the bridge only made it more dramatic. Enjoy!
