In Romans 12:1 we read the following: 'We present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God'. How do we get a holy body? Bible teacher Derek Prince explains that we do this by laying our body on altar of God’s service. If we do this it'll sanctify our bodies, since the altar sanctifies the gift that's been placed upon it. God is calling us to the ongoing ministry of intercession. Jesus as a perfect Intercessor, continues to intercede for us in eternity (Heb. 7:24). He shares His burden with those who are called as intercessors. He places a burden upon people.
