Yadi Prabhupāda Na Hoite (Bhajan) | যদি প্রভুপাদ না হইতে | A Bhajan in Glorification of Śrīla Prabhupāda | SOS
Yadi Prabhupāda Na Hoite
যদি প্রভুপাদ না হইতে
A simple and heartfelt rendition of the beautiful Vaiṣṇava bhajan “Yadi Prabhupāda Na Hoite”, glorifying His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.
The song expresses a deeply moving question: If Śrīla Prabhupāda had not come, what would have happened to us? How would we have lived our lives?
Written by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja, the song reflects with gratitude on Śrīla Prabhupāda's extraordinary contribution in spreading the teachings of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the chanting of the Holy Name, Deity worship, Ratha-yātrā and other devotional festivals, and the teachings of Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta throughout the world.
This rendition is intentionally kept simple and slow, accompanied by piano, allowing the mood and meaning of the bhajan to remain at the heart of the offering.
