Do you want to plan a trip to see Mount Fuji without crowds and see it clearly?
Schedule flexible days in your schedule while in Tokyo, check the weather every night and morning and take the shinkansen to Shin-Fuji! Steps in the video and below!
Itinerary:
Day 17! Mt. Fuji, perfect weather!!!! Clear day!!!
• woke up and caught the train to Shinagawa Station
• had breakfast, pastries, and coffee at the Shinagawa Station
• caught the Shinkansen to Shin-Fuji also bought a cappuccino from the Shinkansen vending machine and it was actually really good!
• Rented bikes from the Shin-Fuji Visitors Center (please stop here! They are so helpful)
• Went to the Nyūdohimon Park! Saw the ocean, river and Mt. Fuji!
• rode back to station and had matcha lattes and curry for lunch
• Returned bikes to the visitor center and took the train to Fujinomiya Station
• From Fujinomiya Station, we took the city bus to Shiraito Falls (perfect views the entire ride!!)
• saw the falls and gorgeous views of Mt. Fuji
• Ice cream and souvenir stopping at Takimotoya Souvenir & Cafe
• bus to train, train to Shinkansen!
• T’s Ramen Shop (vegan!) it was delicious!
Please note that Mt. Fuji (Fuji San!) looks so much bigger and better in person, no matter how many photos I’d take, I could not get it to portray how vast it is in real life. I compared it to taking a photo of the Grand Canyon. It just doesn’t do it justice!
