Shot on my Dji Mini 4k in 4k30. It was a very very windy day, with winds over 20mph.I struggled to stay on my feet and not get blown over by the wind 😂. The Drone did great in these testing conditions and gave me some great footage. This is apart of our Southwest Seaside series. #Dawlish #seaside #devon #drone #dji Sand Spit: Dawlish Warren is a sand spit formed by the river Exe, a very low sand bank with some areas only a few meters above sea level. National Nature Reserve: The Warren is home to a 506-acre National Nature Reserve, which was designated in 2000. Exe Estuary: The Warren sits at the mouth of the Exe Estuary, a significant area for wildlife, particularly wading birds. Sand Dunes: The Warren is known for its sand dunes, which are a key part of the landscape and habitat. Erosion: The sand spit has experienced erosion over time, partly due to the breakwater at Langstone Rock, which has impacted the natural flow of sediment. Beach Management: There have been ongoing beach management schemes, including groyne installations, to try and address erosion and maintain the beach. Groyne System: The Warren has a groyne system (wooden structures) to help stabilize the beach and prevent erosion.
