An Annuity is a series of equal periodic payments which can take form in 4 types: 1. Ordinary Annuity - annuities where payments are made in the end of every period whereby the first payment falls on the first period. 2. Annuity Due - annuities where payments are made at the beginning of every period whereby the first payment falls on the first period. 3. Deferred Annuity - annuities where the first payment will be deferred to a future date. 4. Perpetuity - annuities that lasts forever.
