Jonesboro, GA Thunderbolt 1000BSC Test April 7, 2021

Just another Jonesboro monthly test. This time, I filmed the siren on Arnold St. as it was reported to be active. Kyle (Siren Explorations) and I went down there to film this thing. Before the siren goes off, there are some distant noon bells for everyone's listening pleasure. If you are one of those people who want to hear just the bolt, fast forward to 0:20 in. This siren is a C series 1000. The blower at least came from Catawba nuclear plant in SC, and I have no idea where the head came from. If I had to guess, I would presume it came from Catawba too. Funnily enough, this one is on 4 RPM, as opposed to the other active one being on 8 RPM. Jonesboro tests on the first Wednesday of the month at noon, weather permitting.
