shades of Algeria | a visual travel diary

Growing up in Montreal, I often heard about Algeria and the pride that Algerians have for their country. Over 3 weeks of traveling around Oran, Relizane and Alger, I discovered a culture of immense richness, a history of resilience, spirit and heart but above all, a sense of hospitality that deeply touched me. The way people care for one another, making me feel welcomed, comfortable, and surrounded by kindness... Through this visual diary, I hope to share a small part of what I experienced there, in hopes that its beauty will touch you as deeply as it touched me with lots of love, Nyah
