Today’s scenes about Shurpankha and Sita Haran. Shurpanakha was the sister of Ravana, the king of Lanka. One day, she went to the forest of Panchavati, where Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Lakshman were living during their exile. When Shurpanakha saw Shri Ram, she became attracted to him and expressed her desire to marry him. Lord Ram humorously directed her towards Lakshman, who also refused her. Angered by the rejection, Shurpanakha attempted to attack Mata Sita. To protect Sita, Lakshman cut off Shurpanakha's nose and ears. Humiliated and furious, she went to her brothers Khara and Dushana and later informed Ravana about the incident. This event became one of the important causes leading to the abduction of Mata Sita. After learning about Shurpanakha's humiliation, Ravana decided to take revenge against Lord Ram and Lakshman by abducting Mata Sita. Ravana sought the help of Maricha, who transformed himself into a beautiful golden deer. Mata Sita was fascinated by the deer and requested Shri Ram to catch it for her. Lord Ram went after the deer, leaving Lakshman to protect Sita. After being struck by Ram's arrow, Maricha cried out in Ram's voice, calling for help. Worried about Shri Ram, Sita urged Lakshman to go and find him. Lakshman eventually left to search for Ram. Taking advantage of Sita's isolation, Ravana arrived disguised as a sage. He revealed his true identity and abducted Mata Sita, carrying her away towards Lanka. On the way, the brave bird Jatayu tried to rescue her but was seriously wounded by Ravana. When Shri Ram and Lakshman returned and discovered that Sita was missing, they began searching for her. Thus began the journey that would eventually lead to the great battle between Shri Ram and Ravana.
