Spring 1972. A year after Thomas and Eleanor returned to Earth, the Engineer artefact remains sealed inside an international research facility. Scientists from across the world have studied it, measured it and argued over findings that cannot all be true. Then, after months of silence, the artefact transmits. Order of a New World is an original eight-track progressive psychedelic rock concept album from The Psychedelic Room. It begins a new chapter in the story connecting the Taluka saga to The Eden Transmission, following the scientists, technicians and families drawn into a secret research programme that will eventually transform human civilisation. Musically rooted in the sound of early-1970s British progressive rock, the album features Hammond organ, expressive electric guitar, piano, acoustic drums, analogue bass and restrained early synthesiser textures. This is a continuous narrative album rather than a compilation or mix.
