Music Man Stingray Prototype at Leo Fender's Office

I am so incredibly fortunate to have had the chance to sit with G&L President Dave McLaren and play and discuss this amazing prototype bass Leo Fender built for Music Man that later became the Stingray!! The body features a Harvest Gold colored body and one of the nicest feeling neck profiles on this Maple neck. Dave McLaren starts to tell us about CLF Research, Clarence Leo Fender Research, that we will definitely be exploring more soon. Leo Fender was a genius and I feel super fortunate to have the chance to play this bass and get some amazing history behind this instrument.
