Friends, welcome to Cities Without Words. 🇺🇿 In this 4K daytime walking tour, we explore Tashkent — from the famous Chorsu Bazaar through the beautifully renovated Zarqaynar Street to the historic Hazrati Imam Complex, and then deeper into the old residential neighborhoods of the city. The walk begins around Chorsu Bazaar, one of Tashkent’s most famous and atmospheric markets. From there, we continue along Zarqaynar Street — a newly renovated pedestrian street with traditional architecture, decorative details, cafés, shops and a strong old-city atmosphere. The route then leads to the impressive Hazrati Imam Complex, one of the most important historic and religious areas of Tashkent. After visiting the main sights, the walk changes completely. Instead of staying only in the tourist areas, we turn into the old residential streets and mahallas of Tashkent — narrow lanes, traditional houses, quiet courtyards and everyday local life — before making our way back toward Chorsu and continuing further through the city. This walk shows two very different sides of Tashkent: the restored historic center and the real everyday neighborhoods just beyond it. There is no narration and no background music.
