CCYO launches Indefinite 2nd Phase Agitation against Forest Department; Locks Forest Offices in Phek

The Centre Chakhesang Youth Organisation (CCYO) on October 12, 2026 began the second phase of its indefinite agitation with peaceful picketing at the Pfutsero Range Office, Phek Range Office and Phek Forest Office over the government’s failure to fulfil its three-point demands. The first phase began on October 5, when the organisation announced the lifting of the hunting ban as part of its non-cooperation movement.
