At some point in your 20s, seeing your closest friends starts requiring the same level of planning as an international summit. Nobody had a falling out. Nobody hates each other. Everyone just got jobs, relationships, different schedules, and suddenly the guys you used to see every day are people you see once every three months. In this video, I yap about why male friendships slowly get harder to maintain as you get older, how guys can go months without talking and somehow act like nothing happened, and why sending your friend an Instagram reel probably isn't enough to maintain a friendship forever. The weird part is that most of the time, you don't lose your friends because something happened. You lose them because nothing happened. So text the guy you've been saying you need to hang out with for the last four months. And please, when someone asks who's free Saturday, don't respond with “I'm down for whatever.” You've contributed absolutely nothing. #zoletri
