Beverly "Guitar" Watkins w/Rick Fowler Band - "Blues is Alright" - 80th Birthday - 04/27/19

How do you celebrate your 80th birthday? Beverly "Guitar" Watkins has a show and tears it up at the Foundry in Athens, Ga. (4/27/19). She'd been in the hospital recently but seemed feisty playing with the Rick Fowler Band (Michael Doke, Rick Fowler, Deane Quinter, Greg Veale, Tim White) her regular support in Athens, Ga. The sound quality is due to their dynamics and Kevin Sweeney's mix. This is my hand-held camera angle from a four camera shoot (with Dave Nix and Dan Aguar). Sadly, Ms. Beverly passed away on Oct. 1, 2019, after suffering a stroke. She shared a lifetime of music and is sorely missed.
