I used finsa MDF for the first time on this build and it is very impressive! It is much more stable and also leaves a nice paintable edge with hardly any sanding. If you wonder why I didn't glue the frame to the carcass, I needed to scribe it to the skirting so thought it might be easier if I can remove it but I didn't need to in the end.
