Recovering Silver tabs from Crystal Oscillators

Scrap Crystal Resonators & Crystal Oscillators can be a long process to remove the quartz crystal tab with the silver on it. Check out my recommended safety products, Furnaces & stuff on amazon.. https://www.amazon.com/shop/ewasteben I separate the long crystals out to do by hand but the rest I am saving to process in possibly a 50/50 solution of Nitric acid. Otherwise it would take forever to get out the crystal that contains the silver. It takes a lot of crystals to get 1oz of silver but since they come on most circuit boards, they build up quickly and are fun to collect knowing one day I will get a silver pay day.
