Power From On High #LuckyLukeOutlaw

Power From On High By: Lucky Luke Lyrics: Jesus told ’em, “Wait right here, Jerusalem, the time is near. You heard the promise, hold on tight, You’ll know the power when it comes tonight.” They asked Him, “Lord, will You restore The kingdom like it was before?” He said, “That ain’t yours to know, Just wait on God, and watch it go.” You’ll receive power from on high, When the Holy Ghost comes down. Don’t keep staring at the sky, There’s work to do on the ground. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, Go tell ’em what His name is worth. You’ll receive power from on high— When the Holy Ghost comes down. Then Jesus rose into the blue, A cloud came down and took Him through. They stood there looking to the sky, Wondering where He’d gone and why. Two men said, “What’re you waiting for? This same Jesus is coming once more. But until that day, you’ve got a road, So carry the truth and carry the load.” You’ll receive power from on high, When the Holy Ghost comes down. Don’t keep staring at the sky, There’s work to do on the ground. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, Go tell ’em what His name is worth. You’ll receive power from on high— When the Holy Ghost comes down. Then suddenly— A sound from heaven. Like a mighty wind— The whole house shaken. Fire came down, Flames in the room. The Spirit filled ’em— And the fear was gone. No more waiting. No more fear. The promise came— The power’s here! Power from on high! Holy Ghost come down! Fire in their hearts, Feet on the ground! Jerusalem! Judea! Samaria! To the ends of the earth! Power from on high! Holy Ghost come down! Jesus gave the order— Now we’re going out! Don’t just stand there looking at the sky… There’s a whole world waiting. Go tell ’em why. #POWERFROMONHIGH
