Goat Rocks Wilderness and Goat Lake

Goat Rocks Wilderness is a stunning area for backpacking and day hikes. I did the loop hike from Snowgrass Flats to Goat Lake then down Goat Ridge to Berry Flats trailhead. There were several backpackers that had camps set up in various places and I saw several more on their way up. If you’re planning on staying at Goat Lake keep in mind of other campsites along the way incase the lake is too crowded. As I was doing this hike as a day trip I was already thinking of coming back for a backpacking trip and exploring the area more.
