The 2024 Swan Blues Regatta

An annual regatta in November between Oxford and Cambridge alumni who live in Perth, Western Australia. The crews train for eight weeks before the regatta. Many rowers and supporters are wearing the distinctive 1829 Boat Club blazers. 1829 was the year of the first Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race held between the two universities, and it's also the year of the founding of Perth. It is possibly the only Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race to be held in the southern hemisphere......unless anyone knows otherwise.
