Ever since I finished this song before summer, the weather forecast tricked me so many times. I’d check the forecast before bed, get excited thinking “Yes, rain tomorrow!”, only to wake up to a cloudy day with just a light drizzle now and then. After going through that over and over, I finally got to capture this moment of music in the rain at the end of September. A manufactured coincidence. Worth the wait! Thanks to all that, I now know exactly how much rain to expect when the forecast says "X millimeters." For reference, this video was shot in 3mm rain. I didn’t realize it while making the track, but I really love how it naturally blends in that 3-chord blues vibe that’s at my roots.
