Far away from the noise, traffic, and pollution of the city, my village is surrounded by endless greenery, fresh air, and peaceful moments. This is also the season of paddy planting, when the fields come alive and everyone works together. It's one of the most beautiful times of the year. But this July has also brought immense pain to Assam. The devastating floods in many parts of Upper Assam have affected countless families. Many people have lost their homes, and some have even lost their lives. In several places, the water has risen above the rooftops, leaving entire communities struggling to survive. Please keep the people of Assam in your prayers.
