Northampton and Lamport Railway, 30th Anniversary Gala, 30th August 2026

30th Anniversary Gala, bio off the website. To celebrate 30 years since the official opening of Northampton & Lamport Railway we’re putting on our biggest Gala yet! Three days of intense action on the track, plus live music, gift and craft stalls, model railways and much more! THIS COMING WEEKEND – Sat 29th – Mon 31st August FREE heritage shuttle bus service between Northampton Railway Station, the town centre (Victoria Street) and Kingthorpe to/from the Railway running each day! PLEASE NOTE – Unfortunately, our special guest steam loco (ex-Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway No.52322) failed with boiler problems on 24.08.26 and is no longer able to attend our Gala. We apologise for any disappointment.
