The Raven's Call

This is a spooky song for Halloween. Lyrics As twilight crept nearer Came across a murder As I gazed towards the heavens I saw circling ravens There were three or four Maybe even more It was an awesome sight On the eve of night Was this an omen? A message unspoken Or a chilling warning – Would I see the morning? There were three or four Maybe even more It was an awesome sight On the eve of night Knew I had only one chance Had no choice but to advance There could be no hesitation On the road toward my destination There were three or four Maybe even more It was an awesome sight On the eve of night Knew I had to be bold Despite whatever the future may hold Nothing must get in the way No matter the price I might pay There were three or four Maybe even more It was an awesome sight On the eve of night In my tunic was the key That could unlock the world’s destiny Then I heard the raven’s call So tomorrow we would rise or fall
