Green Chemistry and Sustainability Infographics Competition: Info Session Featuring Cassandra Lydon

The Green Chemistry and Sustainability Infographics Competition is a free, global, 2-day online competition held on social media and through the Green Chemistry Teaching and Learning Community (GCTLC). The inaugural competition will take place from October 20th to 22nd, 2026, in alignment with National Chemistry Week. In this info session, learn more about the competition and hear from Cassandra Lydon (White Bear Lake High School)! Cassie is a high school chemistry teacher in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Minnesota along with a certificate in Online Learning, and has a background in K-12 technology integration and visual literacy. Cassie is a Beyond Benign Certified Lead Teacher and, in the summer months, coordinates and participates in the annual University of Minnesota MRSEC RET program where she has developed and published many lab activities for high school chemistry, several specific to green chemistry and sustainable polymers. 🌱 Ready to participate in the competition?
