If the old docks of Snake Cay could talk, what stories would they tell? This storytelling song takes us back to Abaco’s logging days—the pine forests, timber trucks, working waterfront and people whose livelihoods helped shape an island. Through vintage photographs and scenes of the remains left behind, we remember Snake Cay and the remarkable Robert Fulton: a former Hudson River paddle steamer that found another life serving a Bahamian lumber community. The final two minutes feature her history and personal recollections of groceries, ice cream, school days, family visits and the people who worked aboard her. These memories remind us that history lives in ordinary moments—and in the voices of those who remember. Presented by AFA Digital Music Studio Preserving Bahamian stories through music.
