I managed to grab a few dry [ish] hours during that monsoon season also known as the Great British Springtime, to fit the new Lower Ball Joints on my 1998 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-X.
This is in no way meant to be a tutorial. There are plenty of 'proper' mechanics out there with beautifully equipped workshops and years of experience, who have posted videos showing how to do this job effortlesly on sun-kissed rust-free motors. This is just a record of one bloke, DIY-ing it on an old banger, on the muddy track outside his house.
Because not everyone's nuts & bolts are rust-free and un-seized.
