VR Porsche Cup at Hockenheim – Top Split iRacing Battle From the Back!

Welcome to Episode 3 of Diaries of a VR Simracer, showing a VR POV action packed iRacing Porsche Cup race at Hockenheim in the top split. Top split racing is always very competitive and I enjoy the challenge. A bad qualifying means starting from the back, so where will I finish? 00:00 Intro 00:15 Race Start 07:32 Lap 10 I'm trying a new stabilisation post processing filter on the VR footage before blending the overlays in this video. Please let me know in the comments if you prefer this over the footage from Episode 1 and 2. Personally I think the video is slightly more watchable, but it’s far from perfect. Please give your feedback on the video and content and suggestions of what else for me to try and feature. ******** Diaries of a VR Simracer is my channel for documenting my return to simracing in iRacing, following a near 15 year break. I race exclusively in Virtual Reality using a Quest 3. I am using this as a bit of fun to test different ways of capturing, processing and editing content. VR presents some difficulties here, as the unstabilised image can be decisive for viewers! Some love the raw footage and feel it brings, whilst others find it really hard to watch and want a smoother feel. I’m always wanting to hear feedback on content and processing, so please feel free to offer your opinions. Setup: (Links below are NOT affiliate links.
