Shadow & Kaydee: Back in Sync? Flying Side by Side, Nest Work & Roosting Together | Big Bear Eagles

Are Shadow and Kaydee finally getting back in sync? Their day began apart, but everything changed when they appeared soaring together over Big Bear Valley, landing at the Lookout Snag to exchange their familiar chortles. Kaydee stole the spotlight with her majestic horaltic/heraldic poses in the morning sunshine, while the pair shared several peaceful moments side by side. Later, after two days away from the Nest, Shadow and Kaydee returned together for some long-overdue nest work. Their day ended quietly at the Roost, without the usual chortles but with both eagles together for the night. From beautiful flights to teamwork at the Nest, could these be encouraging signs of a growing bond? This ongoing Big Bear bald eagle reality story is created for longtime followers of Jackie, Shadow, Kaydee and the Big Bear eagle nest, as well as viewers who enjoy bald eagle stories of behavior, relationships, territorial dynamics, and the subtle changes that can only be discovered by following these remarkable birds day after day.
