LIVE: ‘Killer’ Surgeon on Trial — FL v. Tomasz Kosowski — Day 7

Dr. Tomasz Kosowski is set to stand trial beginning September 14 in the disappearance and alleged killing of Largo attorney Steven Cozzi, whose body has never been found. Police say surveillance captured a man believed to be Kosowski entering Cozzi’s law office with a backpack, gloves and a large box before leaving hours later with a cart. Investigators later allegedly found Cozzi’s blood in the office and his DNA in Kosowski’s truck. Now, Kosowski is representing himself and has waived a jury trial, leaving Judge Joseph Bulone to decide his fate. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty if he is convicted.
