GTA 6 Doesn't Deserve Your Money... Yet.

Everyone is hyped for GTA 6. The trailers look incredible. The world looks insane. And now that pre-orders are live, a lot of people are already ready to spend $80–100 on it. But here's the question nobody seems to be asking: Why are we pre-ordering a game we haven't even played yet? Some people think GTA 6 will make them successful on YouTube. Others are buying it simply because it's Rockstar and it's GTA. And I get it. I'm excited for GTA 6 too. But hype shouldn't make the purchasing decision for us. Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky showed us that massive hype doesn't necessarily tell us what the final experience will be like. That doesn't mean GTA 6 will launch badly — it might be incredible. It just means we don't have to predict the future. We can wait. Let the game earn your money. Hype is free.
