Hearts find rest only in the remembrance of Allah. Everyone is searching for peace: some in wealth, some in status. In this lesson, Abdulloh Domla explains why the heart only truly rests in dhikr, the remembrance of Allah: why it must be done for Allah's sake and not only for its benefits, why the Prophet ﷺ compared the one who remembers Allah and the one who does not to the living and the dead, and what it means when Allah remembers you. He then teaches a du'a for worries and debts, nine fruits of istighfar from the Qur'an, the virtues of sending salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ, and the best of all remembrance: La ilaha illallah. This is an English translation of an Uzbek lecture by Abdulloh Domla (Kyrgyzstan), shared with permission. The narration is an English voice-over; the meaning has been kept faithful to the original lecture. Narrations with weak chains are named as weak in the video. If this reminder helped you, share it with someone whose heart needs rest.
