Golden Hour DJ Set | Shimza, Keinemusik & Black Coffee

This was one of the most beautiful locations I've ever recorded a dj set. Gili Air, Lombok, Indonesia. This island breathes Afro House, it's genuinely everywhere here. Even the locals I met told me Shimza and Keinemusik were popular on their Island. Three of the tracks in this set are from Shimza, which says a lot about the mood I was chasing that evening. You'll notice people around us turning to watch the sunset too, some clearly feeling the music while they do. I actually tried to record a sunset set here the day before, but it turned cloudy halfway through, so I stopped. This day, the sunset over the ocean was perfect, and it somehow matched the melodic house tracks I was playing almost beat for beat. At the end, during what might be my favorite sunset soundtrack yet, the sun said its goodbye and disappeared into the horizon. I had to move the camera so you could see it too.
