Massive Axle Failure & Mountain Rescue! MF 375 Tractor Repair & Recovery

​In this intense episode of Truck Care TV, we tackle a high-stakes mechanical rescue in the heart of the mountains. While hauling massive rocks on a steep incline, our Massey Ferguson 375 suffered a catastrophic rear axle failure, causing the tractor to drop and the gear oil to leak completely. ​Witness the full recovery process where we brought in a Caterpillar Wheel Loader to lift the trailer using its bucket. We used a heavy-duty Hydraulic Bottle Jack and a Truck Jack to stabilize and level the weight. After dismantling the broken parts, we transported the damaged axle and shattered bearings out of the mountains by motorcycle to our workshop. ​Technical Specifications & Parts Replaced: ​Axle Shaft: Heavy-duty 3.25-inch diameter high-tensile steel axle. ​Main Bearings: High-load roller bearings (Part No. 32215 and 32218). ​Oil Seal: Heavy-duty double-lip seal (Size 75x100x12mm). ​Locking Pin (Kili): 1/2-inch hardened steel safety locking pin for the outer hub. ​Lubrication: Refilled with fresh 80W-90 high-viscosity gear oil. ​After a precision fitting at the workshop, we hauled the parts back into the mountains, reassembled the entire unit on-site, and successfully drove the loaded tractor out of the mountain pass.
