Phil Unicomb demonstrates the four primary ways a pilot can inadvertently enter a stall/spin. This lesson brings together the concepts covered in our recent stall and elevator awareness videos and shows, in real flight, how a spin requires sustained yaw and sustained stall. This is demonstrated in a: Level turn Climbing turn Descending turn Skidding turn ⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE⚠️ This video is for education and awareness only - it is NOT a spin recovery training video. All manoeuvres were conducted by a pilot with low-level aerobatic training approval in an aircraft approved for spinning. Always seek instruction from a qualified flight instructor in an appropriate aircraft before attempting any stall or spin training.
