GTA 6 Won’t Bring Back What We Lost | Lets Talk

GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games of all time. But I don't think we're only waiting for a game. We're waiting for a feeling. For the people we used to play with. For the nights when everyone was online. For the friendships that seemed like they would last forever. For a time when life felt a little simpler, and all we had to worry about was getting into the same lobby. We grew up with gaming, the internet, and online communities. We were one of the first generations to experience friendship through a screen — and now we're also experiencing what happens when life pulls everyone in different directions. Jobs. Relationships. Distance. Responsibilities. Adulthood. Suddenly, the people who used to be one invite away are hundreds or thousands of miles away. And that's why I think GTA 6 represents something much bigger than a new Grand Theft Auto. Maybe we're not waiting for Vice City. Maybe we're waiting for everyone to be together again. And maybe, when GTA 6 finally arrives, we'll discover something beautiful — or something painful: Maybe the thing we miss was never the game. Maybe we miss who we were when we played it.
