Another week, another bountiful harvest! 🌱 This week, we harvested basket after basket of vegetables, with almost every variety performing beautifully. The vines are thriving, and the results of our soil amendments are clearly showing. The ridge gourd, bottle gourd and snake gourd are continuing their fantastic performance, while new varieties like spine gourd have started giving us harvests, along with our regular ivy gourd and other vegetables. But this week, we also noticed a new challenge—fruit flies and fruit borers in some snake gourds and ridge gourds. So, in this video, I’ve explained about pheromone traps—how they work, why we need them, and how to install them. We’ll also be experimenting with them in the coming weeks to see the difference for ourselves. And the surprise harvest of the week? Beautiful black sugarcane! 🌱 Look at how long, thick and healthy they have grown. Once again, the soil amendments are proving their worth.
