Back fishing at Davao Coastal Road with my homemade wooden lure, this time fitted with bigger hooks. This trip turned out to be a productive one, with bugaong and two good-sized trevally landed and released! In Episode 1, I mentioned changing the hook size. In this second episode of the Jbaits journey, I follow through with that adjustment and get much better hookups during the session. I’ll keep fishing with this same lure until it breaks or gets “donated” to a fish. Then it’s back to the workbench to make another one. All fish caught in this video were released. Subscribe to follow the fishing trips, lure tests, and adjustments along the way. Thanks for watching! See you at the spot!
