Ye Harfaie Podcast | Episode 12 : Alec Cartio / پادکست یه حرفایی | قسمت ۱۲: الک کارتیو

In this episode, I sit down with Alec Cartio, a director and creative visionary who revolutionized Iranian music videos and set a new standard for an entire industry. We trace his journey from leaving Iran for Sweden as a young child to forming a boy band as a teenager, exploring the experiences that shaped his ambitions and his early relationship with music and creativity. Our conversation takes us to Los Angeles, where he found a new home and brought together his education, influences, and creative vision to change the way Iranian music was seen on screen. We explore the thinking behind his work and what it took to bring those ideas to life. Beyond his career, we touch on raising a teenager and navigating the obstacles that come with life’s different chapters. We also explore his lifelong passion for cars, how that fascination has stayed with him through the years, and how it eventually opened the door to a new path and career in the world of classic cars. A conversation about creativity, immigration, reinvention, and the passions that continue to shape our lives. Hope you enjoy the episode.
